"Stay the night." He pleaded. The candle light played tricks with his eyes.
"You know I can't." She said.
"Why?" he asked, adamant in his request.
"It's not right. Plus I have to read tonight. I've got a test tomorrow. Look, I really enjoyed our date. You do know to cook the best meals." she appeased.
"It's fine. Let me get ready to walk you." he got to his feet, walked towards his room, and at the last minute veered off to the main door, which he locked with vehemence.
"What are you doing?" she asked, paranoia rising in her chest.
"Exactly what you want. You think I don't know, how you girls turn a guy on and pretend like it's not what you want." he said, his fingers unfastening the buttons of his shirt.
"Please, don't be like this. Don't do this. Please, let's talk this out." she tried to reason with him. Her breath caught. Her hands shook. Her pupils dilated with fear.
"There's nothing to talk about." His trousers dropped to the ground with a hiss.
"I'll scream. I swear I will." Desperation crept into her voice as she searched for an escape route. A furtive glance around confirmed her fear. She was trapped.
"You can scream all you want." he laughed.
Within seconds, she was grabbed and dragged to the ground by the viselike grip of his hands. She struggled like a prey caught in a trap, but was too limp for any struggle. His deft fingers pulled at her jeans roughly, her soft flesh groaned aloud from the friction. Sighting a stray shoe not too far off, she pushed forward and pulled at it while his hands roved over her exposed breasts. She hit his head with the heel, and was violently plunged into the world of pain.
The door clicked close at 11:42PM. Her study group had started off without her.
"How'd it go?" Her roommate asked ignoring the state her friend was.
"Why didn't you call me seeing as it was getting late." she asked in a flat tone.
"I didn't want to intrude in your fun."
"I see."
"So, how did your date go. Give us the gist na." Another girl prodded.
"He raped me."
